Eagle is proud to welcome Rich Botts as our new Director of Operations.
With more than three decades of experience in lead-acid battery manufacturing and maintenance, Rich brings a deep understanding of the equipment, processes, and people that keep production running efficiently. Throughout his career, he has led maintenance, operations, and process development teams, most recently at Hammond Lead Products and previously at Pratt Industries.
Rich’s background includes extensive experience with Barton oxide systems, ball mills, red lead and litharge production, combustion systems, melt pots, hammer mills, and both mechanical and pneumatic material handling systems. He also holds technical certifications in welding and electrical work, giving him a practical, hands-on perspective that complements his leadership experience.
“Rich understands this industry from the ground up,” said Eric Holtan, Eagle CEO. “His experience and technical knowledge make him an excellent addition to our leadership team, and we’re excited about the value he’ll bring to Eagle and our customers.”
As Director of Operations, Rich will help guide Eagle’s manufacturing operations while supporting the company’s continued focus on innovation, quality, and customer success.
Outside of work, Rich lives in Valparaiso, Indiana, with his wife, Jeanette. They have three grown children (Tyler, Richie, and Brittany) and are proud grandparents to Greyson and their newest grandson, Ronan. When he’s not working, Rich enjoys spending time with family and friends and getting out on the golf course.
