A Brief History of Eagle

1990
Joe McKinley and Earl Busdieker founded Eagle Oxide Services. With years of experience in Lead Oxide production, their vision for Eagle was to start a company that could provide reliable machinery and expertise to the battery manufacturing industry.
1999
Eagle purchased an equipment manufacturer allowing an expanded range of machinery production and direct manufacturing oversight, ensuring quality and dependability for clients.
2007
Eagle expanded operations further allowing production of additional customized equipment for the Lead Acid battery industry.
2012
With continued growth and demand, Eagle expanded to a new 54,000 sq. ft. facility. This additional space again increased capabilities and product offerings.
2014
Eagle acquired an engineering firm to meet the growing demand for more complex machinery related to automation, robotics, vision systems, and complex assembly capabilities. Expanding the engineering capabilities also enhanced Eagle’s ability to design custom machinery to accommodate a client’s existing footprint and unique manufacturing needs.
2024
Eagle introduced its next‑generation Vacuum Paste Mixer. Designed for manufacturers demanding superior consistency, faster cycle times, and reduced process variation, the new mixer combines proven vacuum‑mixing principles with Eagle’s latest innovations in process control and automation.
2026
Eagle introduced its fully integrated lead grid manufacturing solution, redefining how lead grids are produced from melt to stamped grids. By combining alloy melting, continuous casting, rolling, coiling, and grid stamping into one optimized, end‑to‑end process, CONTIGRID™ delivers higher productivity, improved material efficiency, and reduced operational complexity for battery manufacturers.
